My practice explores the physical, optical and symbolic possibilities of glass through light, reflection, transparency and refraction.

I bring fused and hot glass together in experimental compositions, allowing technically incompatible materials to meet. This tension becomes a language for inner transformation: fragile yet resilient, ancient yet continually renewed.

Drawing on prehistoric Anatolian cultures—particularly the Luwians—and their symbolism of light, I connect collective memory with the present. Circular fields, totemic figures and gathered fragments evoke the body, time and cosmic cycles.

For me, awakening to the sun is awakening to oneself. The sun moves in the present: free from the regret of the past and the anxiety of the future. Each work is an invitation to remain in that luminous moment.
